We are currently looking for a part-time Reading Specialist to provide in-person support to an excellent public school in Philadelphia. Responsibilities include providing push-in and pull-out reading support services to elementary and middle school students. Duties also include aiding and supporting teachers in a classroom setting, providing reading instruction and consultation, and working collaboratively with other school staff members.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

· Pennsylvania Department of Education Reading Specialist Certification

· Experience with Fundations and Wilson Reading Programs preferred

· Strong communication skills and writing skills to support students

· Reading Specialist: 1 year (Preferred)

· Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
