Medical SLP
Nyman Associates, a company run by Speech Therapists since 1978, is actively seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a hospital-based position focusing on inpatient adult and outpatient pediatric populations.

Schedule-Part Time:
4-hour shift
8-hour shift
Weekend availability required

Job Details:

• Provide evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and oral motor function to an assigned group of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Consult with medical, allied health, and education personnel
• Independently evaluate patients with known or suspected communication disorders (including speech, language, and oral motor dysfunction) using both non-standardized and standardized evaluation tools
• Develop an individual therapy plan for each assigned patient, which includes goals of treatment
• Instruct family members and caregivers on in-home therapy programs

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA and state board
