Nyman Associates, a company run by Speech Therapists since 1978, is actively seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a hospital-based position focusing on woman’s health with NICU services, as well as inpatient and outpatient adult populations.

Job Details:
  • Evaluate patients referred for appraisal of speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia
    • Including infants in the NICU and adult patients
  • Develop an individual therapy plans for each assigned patient, which includes specific goals of treatment
  • Provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services of speech, language, and oral motor function to a varied population of infants and adults with neurological, developmental, and medically based communication and feeding/swallowing disorders
    • Including infant feeding therapy
  • Consult with medical, allied health, and education personnel
  • Instruct family members and caregivers on in-home therapy programs

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a speech language pathologist
