Nyman Associates, a company run by Speech Therapists since 1978, is actively seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a hospital-based position focusing on woman’s health with NICU services, as well as inpatient and outpatient adult populations.

Job Details:
Evaluate patients referred for appraisal of speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia
Including infants in the NICU and adult patients
Develop an individual therapy plans for each assigned patient, which includes specific goals of treatment
Provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services of speech, language, and oral motor function to a varied population of infants and adults with neurological, developmental, and medically based communication and feeding/swallowing disorders
Including infant feeding therapy
Consult with medical, allied health, and education personnel
Instruct family members and caregivers on in-home therapy programs
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a speech language pathologist
