Position Summary: As a school-based social worker, you will provide a range of services to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. You will collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and community resources to create an environment conducive to academic success and personal development.
Responsibilities include:
Counseling and support
Assessment and evaluation
Crisis intervention
Parent and family engagement
Prevention and education to promote positive mental health and social-emotional skills
Resource referrals
Maintain accurate and confidential records of all interactions and interventions with students and families.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program
State licensure or certification as a social worker (LSW, LCSW or equivalent)
Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or similar setting (Preferred
