Overall Purpose of Job:
  • The Talent & Onboarding Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless candidate experience from initial contact through the first day of employment. This individual will support non-clinical hiring efforts by screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, managing employment agreements, and coordinating all aspects of onboarding. This role requires exceptional communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates for various non-clinical roles, ensuring alignment with the company's hiring standards and culture.
  • Conduct phone interviews with prospective candidates, employing effective questioning techniques to assess their skills, experience, and fit for the organization.
  • Utilize excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates, providing a positive candidate experience throughout recruitment.
  • Prepare and send employment agreements to selected candidates, ensuring all relevant details are accurately documented and conveyed.
  • Initiate and manage the onboarding process for new hires, which includes organizing orientation sessions, training schedules, and necessary compliance documentation.
  • Track onboarding progress for each individual, maintaining open communication to keep them engaged, informed, and excited about their new role.
  • Foster ongoing relationships with current onboarders, providing support and answering questions as they transition into their positions.
  • Continually build a talent pipeline by connecting with new candidates, maintaining an active network, and utilizing various sourcing strategies to attract potential talent.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and onboarding records in ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and HRIS, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, managing multiple candidate profiles and timelines effectively while maintaining a high standard of quality outcomes.
  • Uphold the company's values and standards of excellence throughout every stage of the onboarding process.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, onboarding coordination, recruiting, or a related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with high cultural awareness and emotional intelligence.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, ATS systems, and HRIS platforms, with a willingness to learn new systems as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with credentialing workflows or hiring in educational/healthcare settings.
  • Experience using data or metrics to track onboarding status and identify areas for improvement.
