Position Summary:

As a Math Specialist, you will be responsible for providing targeted mathematics instruction to students at various levels of proficiency. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate to facilitate student progress in foundational and advanced math concepts. Your role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized math plans, and implementing strategies to support students’ growth and access to the curriculum.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct student support in mathematics instruction

• Planning a program of study that meets students' individual needs, interests, and proficiency levels

• Adapting curriculum and lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities

• Classroom management

• Assessment and progress monitoring

• Consultation and collaboration with team members

Qualifications:

• Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) teaching certification in Math (Required)

• Teaching experience: 1 year (Preferred)
