Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Human Resources team. This role will serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, focusing on talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and payroll oversight within our educational staffing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our transition to Workday, ensuring smooth adoption and optimization of HR systems. This is a full-time position based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted partner to senior leadership and department heads, guiding HR strategies aligned with business objectives in the educational staffing sector. 
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions, while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. 
- Support the migration to Workday by collaborating with IT and HR teams on system implementation, data migration, process redesign, and user training. 
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives in line with federal, state (PA, DE, NJ), and local regulations, including those specific to education, staffing, and multi-state payroll compliance.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to drive data-informed decisions, such as workforce planning, diversity initiatives, and employee engagement surveys. 
- Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills, with a focus on leadership development and compliance training for educational roles. 
- Handle benefits administration, compensation analysis, and payroll coordination, ensuring accuracy during the Workday transition. 
- Stay current on HR best practices, labor laws, and industry trends in education and staffing.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 
- At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with 2+ years in an HR Business Partner or similar strategic role. 
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on payroll oversight experience, including multi-state payroll processing and compliance.
- Proven experience with HRIS systems; familiarity with Workday is highly desirable, especially in migration or implementation projects. 
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. 
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. 
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HR analytics tools, and payroll reporting

Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR. 
- Experience in the education, staffing, or nonprofit sectors. 
- Background in change management, particularly related to HR system transitions.
