Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Medical, PRN

Nyman Associates, providing exceptional speech therapy services since 1978, is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide PRN support in Philadelphia-area hospital settings. This is a medical-based opportunity, and prior acute care experience is preferred.

Job Details:

  • Provide evaluation and treatment services to patients in hospital settings

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals

  • Independently evaluate patients using both standardized and non-standardized assessment tools

  • Develop individualized treatment plans with appropriate, measurable goals

  • Document progress and modify treatment plans as needed

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and carryover techniques

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university

  • Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Previous acute care or medical experience preferred
