Position Summary: As a Special Instructor for Early Intervention, you will be responsible for providing developmental support and educational services to infants and toddlers and their families.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering direct services tailored to support each child’s developmental goals and the priorities of the family and caregivers
Utilizing play based learning strategies to foster engagement and development
Collecting data on progress toward outcomes
Consulting and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team and the child’s family and caregivers
Providing community resources to support the child and family
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher, Early Intervention Specialist, or equivalent credential, depending on current state/program specific requirements.
Experience working with infants and toddlers in homes and community settings
