As a Special Instructor for Early Intervention, you will be responsible for providing developmental support and educational services to infants and toddlers and their families.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct services tailored to support each child’s developmental goals and the priorities of the family and caregivers
- Utilizing play based learning strategies to foster engagement and development
- Collecting data on progress toward outcomes
- Consulting and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team and the child’s family and caregivers
- Providing community resources to support the child and family
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher, Early Intervention Specialist, or equivalent credential, depending on current state/program specific requirements.
