What You’ll Do
As a School Occupational Therapist, you will support students in developing the functional, fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills needed for academic success and everyday independence.
Responsibilities include:
- Assess students’ functional and developmental abilities
- Develop individualized occupational therapy intervention plans
- Provide school-based occupational therapy services
- Support fine motor skill development and sensory processing needs
- Recommend classroom and environmental modifications
- Monitor student progress and maintain session documentation
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary school teams
- Support student participation and independence within the educational setting
What We’re Looking For
- Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Access to reliable personal transportation is a plus
- Passion for supporting students and school communities
