Nyman Associates is a local, trusted educational services provider for school-based and early intervention therapy services, proudly serving Southeastern PA, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Connecticut for over 40 years. We're seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as an Autism Support Coach, partnering with school teams to strengthen instructional practices and behavioral programming for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Position Summary
As an Autism Support Coach (BCBA), you will collaborate with educators, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to promote the implementation of evidence-based instructional and behavioral practices for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Rather than providing direct therapy services, you will serve as a coach, mentor, and consultant, helping school teams implement individualized supports with fidelity while building staff confidence and district-wide capacity.
This role focuses on coaching classroom teams, modeling effective instructional strategies, supporting behavior intervention planning, facilitating professional development, and ensuring consistency across autism support programs.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Coach teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams through in-class modeling and ongoing consultation
  • Support the implementation of evidence-based instructional and behavioral practices for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and assist with the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed
  • Provide behavioral consultation and collaborate with school teams to support individualized student programming
  • Model instructional and behavioral strategies directly within classrooms
  • Train new and returning staff on autism support practices, behavior plans, and classroom procedures
  • Lead professional development sessions for educators and support staff
  • Monitor implementation fidelity and provide coaching and constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with administrators and multidisciplinary teams to promote consistent practices across autism support classrooms
  • Collect, analyze, and review behavioral and implementation data to guide decision-making
  • Maintain documentation of coaching activities, staff support, and program implementation
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to continuous program improvement
Qualifications
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional and behavioral practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Experience providing staff training, mentoring, or professional development preferred
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and their application in schools
  • Experience with district-wide consultation or systems-level coaching is a plus
